2016 Thirty Days of Thankfulness TeleSummit
Hi. I am Sophia Antoine and I elated that you are interested in participating in the 30 Days of Thankfulness TeleSummit. Please allow me to tell you a bit of my story before we get down to business. I have been married to my wonderful husband Bradley for just over five years. We have been together much longer than that as evidenced by our son, DeWayne who is 22, our daughter Kima, who is 17, and our younger son Gerald, who is 14. In 2006, Bradley was diagnosed with Focal Segmental Glomular Sclerosis. Which caused his kidneys to fail. In 2010, when his kidneys reached 7% function, we were advised to go on dialysis right away. Brad was on dialysis for until December 9, 2015. On December 10th he received a lifesaving transplant. To say that I have much to be thankful for is an understatement.
But wait, there’s more….our daughter Kima has suffered from severe depression the majority of her life. She began cutting in elementary school and progressed to more harmful behaviors as she got older. Kima has made attempts on her life and had to be hospitalized when she wasn’t able to live at home safely. I am happy to say that with treatment and the help of The Most High, she hasn’t had to be hospitalized in almost two years.
I know you all have similar stories and that’s why you are here. You want to encourage. You want to support. You want to uplift. Well, here is your chance to make a difference. I am hosting a telesummit during the month of November. It is my goal to have someone present every evening to encourage those who are down in their spirits. There will not be a charge for those who want to view the summit nor will their be a fee to participate. I will gladly accept donations to cover some of the costs. Please email me separately if interested in assisting.
Please complete the application below so you can be added to the roster of speakers. Please submit a clear head shot as well as your biography to be sent out to the viewers.
Let me know if there are any questions. I look forward to working with each of you who want to share your stories of encouragement and gratitude to uplift an ailing world.
